Jordanians are famously warm with families, distances are short, and with a private car and driver you travel at your children's pace.

Our 7-day Jordan family itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Amman
Meet and assist at the airport, private transfer to your hotel and time to rest after the flight.
Day 2 – Jerash and Amman
Walk among the columns, temples and chariot track of Roman Jerash, then visit the Amman Citadel. Children love the views over the city and a falafel lunch downtown.
Day 3 – Madaba, Mount Nebo and Petra
A short visit to the mosaic map of Madaba and Mount Nebo, then drive south to Petra with stops along the King's Highway. Pool time at the hotel in the afternoon.
Day 4 – Petra, an adventure for all ages
Walk through the narrow Siq to the Treasury, then explore tombs and caves with a local guide who tells the story of the Nabataeans in a way kids enjoy. Horse and carriage rides are available for little legs.
Day 5 – Wadi Rum desert camp
A jeep tour among sand dunes, canyons and rock bridges, sand-boarding on the dunes, sunset in the desert and a Bedouin dinner cooked under the sand. A night in a desert camp is the highlight for most children.
Day 6 – Aqaba or the Dead Sea
Choose the Red Sea in Aqaba for snorkelling and a glass-bottom boat over the coral reef, or the Dead Sea to float on the water (best for children over 6, who should keep the water away from their eyes).
Day 7 – Departure
Private transfer to the airport.
