Good to know
- Which first, Jordan or Egypt? Both work. Ending at the Dead Sea is relaxing; ending in Cairo suits flights home from Egypt.
- Visas: the Jordan visa is free with your tour, see Jordan visa and Jordan Pass. Most nationalities can get an Egyptian visa on arrival or online.
- By land: it is also possible to cross by ferry between Aqaba and Nuweiba (Sinai), which takes longer; we advise the flight for most travellers.
- Only have time for Jordan? See our 7-day Jordan itinerary.
